Nice cosy place for African food....or should I say Nigerian dishes. The prices are reasonable and the dishes are very delicious. We had a Bachelors Eve here on a Sunday evening and it was a good one with guys rolling up their sleeves to dive into their meals of pounded yam, Amala with all manner of soup ranging from Ogbono, Efo Riro, Afang with Assorted meat. Also afrobeat tracks were being played on the background at a reasonable volume. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Tried Peasher for the first time and was not disappointed! The portion sizes were great for the prices and food was tasty!
I would definitely recommend the Amala with Abula! It was my husband’s dish and I ended up eating with him.
I loved the lively atmosphere and the two guys serving were so polite.

Nice place to go. Went with family. Good Nigerian food. Lots to choose from the menu 🤔Not stingy with the portions🍚 you can request a doggie bag if you can't finish it. Reasonable price as well. Will remember to call ahead next time if I want the grilled fish 🐠. Kudos to the server told us that it will take time to prepare. My brother took it home. Good idea that way he can eat it without any restrictions 😄😄😋

The food was great but the customer service was absolutely abysmal! We came as a large group so booked and sent our orders weeks in advance, yet when we arrive we still have to wait 1 hour to be seated, after moving the tables ourselves. Our meals came out at random intervals over the course of an hour and a half and we constantly had to remind the servers to bring cutlery with our meals. The chef then had the audacity to blame us for her lack of organisation, and then very rudely shouted at us when we told her some of our order was missing. Customer service needs a lot of improvement!

I cannot get over how horrendous our experience was at this place.
We came to celebrate our grandmas birthday and had booked and made pre orders week in advance.
When we arrived at the time scheduled, there was no space for us to sit and after patiently asking for our table, we had to rearrange it ourselves as nothing was being done after 45 mins.
On top of this we waited another hour for our food to come out in different intervals which was not ideal. They were so understaffed that I even had to become one of the waiters by getting basic things such as cutlery for our food, cups for our drinks, our drinks order self.

Now the icing on the cake … the chef/ owner was so audacious it was unbelievable. Instead of her to apologise for the lack of organisation and service, she came out shouting and screaming at the top of her lungs unprovoked saying that she shouldn’t of taken our booking because shes so stressed. I’ve never seen someone own a business with so much victim mentality.
She got even worse when we were trying to organise the bill while she had intervals of screaming at the top of her lungs again unprovoked. No patience, no humility, absolutely NO accountability and no regard for my grandparents who were there to enjoy their birthday, it was so uncomfortable to see. She was constantly telling lies and did not want to listen to what anyone had to say. She overcharged for food that did not come to our table and her response whenever we tried to question it was shouting once again, playing the victim. To avoid her continuing on with her wrath, we just had to pay the difference which was very questionable.

There was so much that was wrong with our experience and was a shame that her disgustingly rude behaviour became the focus of something that should of be celebratory.
Not all places need to be restaurants, just stick with takeaway- this place was the perfect example for this.

Avoid at all costs!!

Extremely disappointing. I order from this restaurant often and usually enjoy the food so we organised for our grandma to have a birthday dinner party there. I’m still in shock at how bad the customer service was. We could have let go of the fact that they hadn’t prepared properly for our booking (I.e the tables were not even arranged when we arrived and even after waiting for 45 mins we had to eventually arrange the tables ourselves; there was no cutlery on the tables or brought out with our meals, we had to beg them often more than once for a spoon to eat rice; our food came out in 30 min to 1 hr intervals even after pre ordering) but the moment that ruined the whole evening for my grandparents is when the chef (and I’m assuming owner) screamed at our party, embarrassed and belittled us in the establishment by making remarks such as ‘don’t come here if you don’t have any money’. I’ve never experienced such horrible horrible customer service. Many people in my party left the restaurant in tears and it seemed that the owner couldn’t care less. I’m sure hosting a large party was stressful for her but it does not excuse her hateful language and lack of decorum. I honestly hope that she reflects and changes her attitude towards customer service especially if she wants her business to grow and prosper. To the owner, please reflect on how you treat your customers; if you want your business to grow, they are your bread and butter. Finally, I would not recommend any parties higher than 2 eating at this restaurant. There are plenty other Nigerian restaurants in the area that I hope would give you a better experience. Sadly, as much as I’ve enjoyed my past orders from Peasher and love to support small businesses, I shall not be returning. This is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to leave such a long review which speaks to how upsetting the entire experience was.

Great spot for naija food. Shame parking is a bit of an issue until.about 8pm when the high street blockage is removed. Then guests can park right in front of the restaurant. Start your experience off with their Pepper Soup. Very tasty and rich. Had beans on my visit but it was quite salty and I couldn't finish it
