Lovely restaurant a nice homely vibe and delicious food, be prepared to have your socked blown off by the pepper. You don't feel rushed by the staff when sitting and talking after the meal. The lady taking the orders very efficient and composed, even when she was rushed off her feet. Will definitely go back.

Forgot to take pictures. This was the first time I had eaten Ghanaian food.

I had the tilapia fish which was huge with fried breadfruit and plaintain which was delicious. It was too much for me to finish so took half of it home.

I did find it very spicy but I suppose it was to keep its authenticity.

This is an authentic Ghanaian restaurant run by Ghanaians. It's a converted pub and has the seating and tables intact for eating in or take away. The meat offered can be specified as halal and the service is good polite and efficient. A nice place to eat authentic Ghanaian food.

I was so excited to try this place but I was so disappointed. The service was atrocious, we had to wait over an hour for our food, yet people that came in after us got their food much quicker and there was no apology. The table was dirty and when we asked the server to clean it, she was like “I’ve already cleaned it?” And just didn’t have the best attitude. The suya and soup was both tasty but ridiculously spicy, I am Ghanaian myself so I’ve had these dishes many times but the spice was unbearable that it ruined the soup. I couldn’t even finish it.

Authentic Ghanaian cuisine served up by some amazing cooks. For a unique experience dine in and if your not familiar with Ghanaian food eat in and try something you've never tried before. Can almost guarantee you'll find something on the menu you'll come back for

I ordered groundnut soup with meat, jollof rice with meat and bofrot to takeaway.
The service was brilliant and food came out piping hot and quickly.
Will definitely go back again.

Saw this shared on Instagram by a food blogger and really wanted to try the food. I took bus 241 from Stratford bus station stops you right infront of the establishment. On entering the buzz of music families food laughter is the first thing you are greeted with. Very easy to understand menu and lovely greeting. You place your order at the counter and pay then the food cones to your table. Authentic Ghanaian food 😋 big portions cooked fresh and the owner Kate is so lovely strong as ever at 70yrs old. Loved what I tasted value for money clean welcoming a must try 🥰 definately coming back to try more lets support this small business owner with this fabulous concept. Well done Kate 👏

I have been here a few times and recently it took quite long for food to come out. But the food is well worth it. Jollof cooked to perfection and the kelewele basket is delicious as always especially the crispy slight burnt bits. Highly recommend if you want to try Ghanaian cuisine.
Local area but difficult for parking.
