Nice to have a small quiet place for wildlife in the local area very popular with dog walkers.

Lovely place. Not many people know about it I don't think as its a bit out of the way. I lived 5 mins away for years and never did, I don't know if it was there when I lived there tho. See the occasional dog walker. Soooo many birds, it's lovely. Can't walk through a lot of it atm tho as it's turned really boggy and pond like in this weather but I think it's a wetland so that's understandable. Really annoys me the amount of litter in there tho, especially alcohol cans. I've also seen glass, food wrappers, bottles etc. How hard is it to put it in the bin nearby?!?! Lynn is very littered tho, a lot of people with no respect for nature or where they live. The place is also not very big unfortunately you can walk round the whole thing in 10 mins. Shame Lynnsport and the new and existing housing estate has taken up so much room around it so I doubt it'll ever be expanded. Not many nice places to walk round Lynn anymore. Here, reffley woods, the walks, hardings pit, along the river, back of Hardwick and the hospital. That's about it. Glad I found it during the first lockdown, little Haven. There's also a few benches in there. Although of course they have been gifittied..
