Nice wine bar close by Clapham Junction. Really like the self-service with pre-paid card. But the prices of some products are surprisingly high. And the assumption of adding a service charge of 12.5% to every ordered item... even bread and butter? Not cool

They managed to find us a table for just over an hour as they were fully booked. I thought the staff were friendly and helpful. We had four sharer plates, which came quickly and they were fairly tasty, my favs was the truffle fries and croquettes. I would definitely recommend this wine bar, but best to book in advance.

Went for a roast dinner (set menu £35) and honestly it was terrible.

They served HALF a potato culminating in 2 measly pieces of non crispy whitewashed wall coloured spuds.

The braised cabbage is straight up raw. The pork belly was in their defence, pretty yum. But had no crackling. They also had no apple sauce and so just brought about about 200 pots of horse radish.

Parsnips were fine, but again small portions.

The truly tragic part was the broccoli. Two TINY weeny little sad boiled to an inch of their life sprigs. Think school dinner after 12 years of austerity. Except you paid £35.

Honestly, it was genuinely pretty rubbish. Don’t get me wrong everyone knows vagabond is for the wine. But the roast needs to come with a warning for DISSATISFIED.

If I could attach a photo as evidence, trust me I would. It’s a sad sight.

All in all 3/10 heed my warning.

I love the whole concept of Vagabond, tasting wine, having read the tasting notes is really interesting. They have different wines on the walls, which you simply pick and serve yourself. The one in Northcote Rd is great fun in the evenings. I also love the Sunday Roast. Very tasty, too.

I had the best time at Vegabond! The food was brilliant, the wine was amazing. Special shout out to Alfonso, he really knows his knowledge on the wine! He recommended me a red which I would never usually drink, turns out I like it now!
All of the staff were brilliant, I will definitely be coming back to the one on Northcote road again, what a great experience!

Had a great night here, catching up with a good friend. Fab atmosphere, great concept. Food very enjoyable and wine delicious. The little bald American who looked like Mini Me was a tremendous host and added to the evening's vibes.

What a great place! The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Spent some time at the bar in the back and we were treated like gold! Love the wine “tasting” options. A staff member, Larry, was especially efficient, kind and funny. Go there and you will love it!

Nice concept. Self-service wine by the glass but friendly staff to advise and help you choose. Limited menu, small plates etc. but the food is good. Low lighting and quiet music, but buzzy atmosphere. Great for couples to chat. Highly recommended.
