They served HALF a potato culminating in 2 measly pieces of non crispy whitewashed wall coloured spuds.
The braised cabbage is straight up raw. The pork belly was in their defence, pretty yum. But had no crackling. They also had no apple sauce and so just brought about about 200 pots of horse radish.
Parsnips were fine, but again small portions.
The truly tragic part was the broccoli. Two TINY weeny little sad boiled to an inch of their life sprigs. Think school dinner after 12 years of austerity. Except you paid £35.
Honestly, it was genuinely pretty rubbish. Don’t get me wrong everyone knows vagabond is for the wine. But the roast needs to come with a warning for DISSATISFIED.
If I could attach a photo as evidence, trust me I would. It’s a sad sight.
All in all 3/10 heed my warning.
Charlie
All of the staff were brilliant, I will definitely be coming back to the one on Northcote road again, what a great experience!
