Wound up in this quaint space on a late night with a few friends. The staff was very helpful and recommended two delicious bottles of red that we all loved. I’ll also note that wine list is pretty extensive and they have a great list of oranges I’m excited to come back for. The small plates are also very flavour and were perfect for sharing. Will be back!

2 years later, after lockdown, and The Remedy is better than ever. Andrea is such a great gentleman and has an amazing set up. Xavier is now on the scene and his wine selections were fun, eclectic and genius. Let me know the next time you drink a vintage sparkling from Wales, cloud chemin from South Africa, Tenerife, Adelaide - we even had a win from France! Bone marrow, sweet breads, panelle, coppa... and yet was all so understated. 👏👏👏

I feel a bit mean only leaving four stars as I have loved coming here for many years, however there are a couple of things that would make the experience even better. It’s a lovely intimate wine bar where they will always try to fit you in despite having limited seating. The wine list is varied and interesting, with off the beaten track wines you wouldn’t necessarily try elsewhere that have clearly been picked to offer a good choice. The side plates are delicious and high quality. However, the prices for both food and wine are at the high end, and for this I’d be keen to see more variety of food / larger portions and a bit more focus on explaining the wine list to justify the cost. Having said that I will keep coming back here as it really is a fab place and I always have a great time!

Conviviality in abundance. Perfect venue size, warm and friendly vibe, silently efficient service, well thought out wine list and food selections to pair it with. The moment you step in you feel at ease and ready to join the conversation. Not many places can boast quality of this type in Fitzrovia.
Simplicity with flourish.
Thoroughly enjoyed spending the evening there with friends last night.

Brilliant wine selection, lovely food. At least one of the owners pretty much always on site, making sure everything is on point. Run with passion by great people and never disappointing. Great ambience and service.

It was a winter visit and the place was loud and unfortunately we had the table by the door. The cold air kind of spoiled the visit. It was quite annoying with subzero gusts of cold air. Food was ok on taste although quantity was so small! It's only for nibbles while enjoying the wine. Not for hunger cravings. I might try again in summer.

Perfect atmosphere, cozy and tasty. Rich wine assortment. And if you don’t know what to order, super nice staff will help you to find the one that meets your tastebuds. Will come here again and again!

Can’t recommend enough. We sat in the bar and had the luxury of getting personalised
advice and care from the superb somerliers.

Started with a German orange wine and followed with a red from Piemonte.

Food was excellent, the anchovies, octopus and lamb ragu are unmissable. We also had the English cheese trio for dessert and it was equally delicious.

Excellent for a date or smaller groups as venue is small which is also why it is special.

Very fairly priced too. Jewel in Fitzrovia.
