Lovely little gem here! Really enjoyed visiting you guys.

Staff were super friendly and helpful with good knowledge, and I could tell they enjoyed working there. It's been on the list to come here for quite some time, and I'm glad to try it out finally.

Hoxton overground station is around the corner and super easy to get to.

The vibe was super pleasant, with cool people, and the choice of drinks and food was excellent. Such an array it was almost a bit like where to start, no complaints at all.

I would recommend going here, and it is great for most occasions, noticed there were people sitting at the bar on their own reading a book; I love that! Shows the type of mix and character of the place.

Sorry got one photo of the bar. Plenty of pictures also, I've noticed.

Solid A*****

Truly great restaurant on the corner. Large and interesting selection of wine and mezcal and fresh, thoughtful menu to pick from. Brin was our server and he was really informed on the wine available and helped us pick a great one to pair with our cheese board. Can’t wait to come back.

Really nice cozy place with extremely dim lighting. Great drinks menu.
The place is quite small and they offer grilled cheese so that’s pretty much all you can smell whilst you’re there. Would go back!

I have lived here for 20 years. I go for a drink here regularly, have always been treated with respect. It's customer service and respect is in line with what you would expect for its price tag and brand, on the upper end of refined experience and drinks hospitality. Last night, as usual I went with my partner to have a drink before going home. It was very busy so we took the drinks menu ourselves, ordered a long drink as listed in the menu at £12 each ( with no obvious print regarding extra charges, nor were we notified when we were served ) so at the end to save time, we left £25.50 cash on the bar, politely notifying the barman so we could leave without waiting for a bill. He smiled and acknowledged this. We walked home, to then be startled to find the barman shouting across the main road and following us down the street saying that we owed £2! We turned back to talk to him, he was clearly agitated and put out implying we had been dishonest. He said " This is not how we do business and why we put it on a bill, and it was a service charge". We apologised and gave him the cash, which was a few pence short and asked what the service charge was and was it optional, to which he replied " Yes it is but its not how we do business". We felt humiliated and embarrassed to be treated that way as if we were in a Wetherspoons.

Quite frankly for a business that markets itself to a discerning type of clientele I would expect far more elegant behaviour than this type of chasing loyal customers across the road for a few pence on a very overpriced drink in the first place. As a result you have lost a customer who has significant community and business links in the locality.

Great selection of natural wines and the small plates and toastie they have go great. Cosy and comfortable place, appreciated the fact you can have a proper conversation and not have to shout to get heard. Staff was welcoming and very knowledgeable

Fantastic wine bar with a lovely vibe. Went on a weeknight for some drinks and snacks and it was unexpectedly busy. However, our server (Connie) managed to see to us frequently and never made us feel rushed, even bringing tasters of wines and discussing choices. The bar manager also came to help us and talked through some wine choices and was generally very helpful! I’m only sad that they had sold out of the pâté en croute but I suppose that’s just another reason to go back (as if the delicious wines, cheeses, and charcuterie weren’t enough)!

Excellent wines and good quality nibbly foods to go with. The place has a warm, convivial atmosphere with guests packed in. They were kind accommodating us when we didn’t have a reservation on a busy Saturday night - would recommend booking.
