Booked a private wine tasting for a stag do and the whole experience was fantastic. Lucie was very helpful and always quick to respond while going through the process of booking the event. Callum hosted the event on the day and he was very knowledgeable and created a fun relaxing environment. He always made sure the stag was topped up with many wines and interesting spirits to try....which the rest of us appreciated! Would definitely reccomend this to any wine lover!

Love this shop. Staff and helpful, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The English sparkling wine tasting tour led by David is a great day out as well as being very educational. The Wine Library great for an evening with good wine and friends. Fabulous.

Rubbish. Disinterested teen on the checkout. Couldn't answer any questions. Made a 10 mile trip due to a tourist magazine review. Left without buying a thing.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of quality wines at reasonable prices. The wine library is a brilliant idea. Sample small glasses from a wide range of wines. This is a great way to expand your own knowledge and experience of different wines.

Absolutely lovely wine shop but the real joy is the knowledge and friendliness of everyone in there. We came for Saturday Club and it was superb. Can't recommend enough, we will be back!

Hired the wine library for my birthday. What a lovely evening. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, I could not have asked for more.
The room itself is lovely and comfortable and clean with en-suite toilets.
The wine dispensing machines are stocked with lots of delicious wines - the staff are on hand to help and refill as you go. Nothing is too much trouble. All of my friends at the party were impressed with the venue and would recommend it to their friends.

A wonderful local wine shop with a wine library upstairs, the staff are unbelievable with amazing knowledge, always willing to help and offer recommendations, they also have a great range of affordable wines and if you follow their social media you can get some gems on offer!! The Whispering Angel went down a treat over Xmas!!
