Don't expect to pickup your Amazon packages here, the owner leaves the packages all over the floor, where people are stepping on them, damaging them. Then when you ask for grab the item, he tells you to come back later because your not as important as paying customer.

The staff at this shop were very rude and abrupt to my wife when she went to collect an Amazon parcel via UPS. They firstly denied they had the parcel then a colleague came out with it from the back. When she asked why they they told her they didn't have the parcel when they did, they became abusive and told her to get out the shop and don't come back. I used to pop in their occasionally for odd grocery items but we will never shop there again.

I had a really bad experience here. The staff that work here are really rude and aggressive. I haven't taken it too personally as I have seen some other ladies had a similar experience to me then trying to collect a parcel. I almost left the shop without it because they were claiming I was trying to take a parcel that wasn't for me despite giving a name, confirmation number and identification. They shouldn't be a UPS pick up point if they can't provide that service well.

It seems most of the issues relate to parcel delivery. When coming to pick up a parcel the man at the front desk not only was extremely abrasive but I whilst looking for our parcel was chucking the parcels around. Luckily there's nothing breakable in ours but alarming. There was also a lot of rotten fruit and i spied one cockroach so thought better of buying any groceries.

The delivery guy was nice. But when the type of wine is not specified it's not good. Sauvignon wine is supposed to be white wine, so the ubereat website should be better. We were disappointed with it. It was some cheap Sainsbury redish wine. Don't order from this place.

Very honest and friendly service. I handed over what I thought was a ten pound note but was actually two together and was handed one back along with the rest of my change. The vine leaves made for a nice lunch too.

Shop here if you want to be accused of shoplifting. I went in with a half full grocery bag, had a brief look for stuffed vine leaves, couldn't see them after 20 seconds, went. Went to the meat market, but it was closed, so thought I'd have more of a look.

The owner confronted me, asked if I was looking for something (to which I said yes, and told him) - he ignored my question, started repeating 'can' and wanted to look in my bag. I showed him, and he started rummaging around in it without so much of a word of notice. As the other comments, extremely abrasive.

I'm a registered paramedic, reasonably well-dressed, and I can't say I've ever had a similar experience. AVOID. Al Madina is only a 20 seconds walk and has a better selection, better prices, and is always friendly with excellent customer service. I hope this place goes out of business.
