A very posh establishment on a very posh street, but something dishonest is going on there.

A young couple at the til in front of me were being told that the £11 something bottles they selected were £15 something because they had been put in the wrong place. "Are you OK with this?" he said.

I was given a similar story. The £35 price tag taped to the bottle for my Mother's birthday was actually £38 because he had neglected to update the labels over the years. "Are you OK with this?"

I was not.

I thought I was walking into a very exclusive wine store but left feeling like I had escaped a den of con artists.

Great place, friendly staff and very tested french wine.

If you don't mind the cost, these guys are really helpful, really know they products and give good advice. I bought a bottle of cognac for my dad and he loved it

New staff. Bad customer service: unable to convey clear message or answer basic questions by phone.

I had a super last minute order for the delivery the next day (Saturday) and had absolutely no knowledge of wine, champagne, etc. Philippe was incredibly kind to me and took the time to make suggestions based on the occasion, preference of the receiver and price point. To say that he was patient is an understatement - I called him at least 5 times and he was always very warm and professional when answering my panicked questions. Philippe, thank you! I'll definitely be calling again and hope to visit one day to say thank you in person!
