Excellent value for money, very good quality wines. Highly recommended.

A really nice shop was there on New year's eve and they had a queue going around the corner , when i got inside i was greeted by a very friendly lady who seemed pleased to see her customers. Brilliant customer service and even though she was busy I was still able to get a recommendation of a really good quality wine.

on reading other reviews I cannot understand why people are moaning about staff. Have the people who are moaning ever served in retail at what is a very stressful time for everyone? The staff are always very friendly and helpful. customers should be pleased that the staff in this shop have remained working hard to serve the public and to keep the store open. My experience as a customer has always been excellent. Staff remember me when I enter the shop which makes me feel special and not just `another customer`. Well done everyone and keep safe.

Since moving to Highbury I have been delighted to discover this wonderful wine shop a short walk from home. Everyone is always so friendly, they were like old friends from day 1! Always ready to give advice if needed, whether that be personal or wine related! Also a great selection of wines, at a competitive price point and lots of offers too. Also pre covid they would do a lovely wine tasting on a Friday evening which would always get the weekend off to a good start. Overall a great place run by great people!

I have been shopping at this store since I moved to Highbury 2 years ago and i love this shop the staff are so friendly and I love their recommendations. I have noticed since the lockdown there are a few customers who are not keeping to the 2 metres distance , which is a shame because i am a nurse and have witnessed the devastation this disease can cause. Thank you to the staff of this store for staying open and keeping us safe when we shop.

What has happened to this lovely store since the lovely family that worked there for over 90 years between them have left .
The store is closed on a Monday and Tuesday at 5pm because they have no staff . It's a shame the bosses of this company doesn't care about this store like the staff who have left did . I know they were of retirement age but I wish they were still there , they were very much part of our community. AND ARE MISSED SO VERY MUCH.

I have been shopping in this store for nearly 10 years and have always experienced excellent customer service.
The staff that work there are very polite and friendly , I always enjoy the way they make you feel welcome. I did feel sorry for the assistant who was there at the weekend for she had a customer in with no mask , she spoke to the customer who was ahead of me in the shop that he needed to wear a mask, he shrugged his shoulders and walked out without a word to the assistant.
I think with all that is going on to wear a mask for a few minutes is nothing , I have a heart problem and breathing problems but would wear a mask for the safety of all.

What a gem. We live above these guys and have stopped going to the supermarket to get our booze due to the great selection on offer and lovely staff. Wines are where they excel (as the name suggests) but there's also a really good selection of other drinks on offer, including some of the rarer beers that you wouldn't find in many other places. Highly recommended!
