Charming, classy wine and spirits shop that's full of gems. It looks quite fancy from the outside, but you can still find £5.50 plonk for cooking/mulled wine, and they have plenty of unusual spirits such as the local Sipsmiths gin.

I've shoped here several times. Great selection of wine from all around the world from classic Chardonnay from burgundy to full body Shiraz from Australia. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great customer service from Antoin. He was really helpful at recommending some special red wine and fizz for my brother’s birthday.
The website is really useful too at listing details of the wines along with a photo and prices.

I paid over the phone and he boxed up the wine ready for collection.

If I lived in the area I would definitely visit this shop for good quality special wines that you can’t really find in the supermarket.

Lea and Sandeman is a great wine shop on Chiswick high street. They have a few shops dotted around London and offer a very large selection. You are spoilt for choice here and they offer options that you can rarely get in London. Price is competitive and well worth it. For regulars, get their wine bag (6 bottles). Every time you go back with it, u can get 6 bottles all at the case price. Staff there are also very knowledgable and offer great advice on wine options.

Always wanted to try this wine shop out so popped in here tonight, definitely won’t be returning. We weren’t acknowledged when we walked in, my husband actually greeted the person sat at his desk. We weren’t offered any help at all. Probably the worst customer service experience we’ve had in a while. Really enjoyed the wine we chose but definitely wouldn’t recommend or go back which is a shame but first impressions really count! We walked away & both said that was awful wasn’t it.

Awesome wine selection for supper

Lovely wine shop with large wine selection; lower price wines are more interesting and varied; burgundy shows a preference for domains with large selections, which unfortunately are more commercially oriented and less interested in quality. Unfortunately, I happened to be present when a customer and a member of staff thought it was good to say horrible things about French people (lazy, arrogant, annoying, nothing good about them...), which reminded me that even after 30 years here, I am but a guest, less and less welcome.
