I spent several days working with a chap called, Cesare, to put together a wine box as a gift for a friend in London. I live outside the city and all that was needed was my credit card number which I was pleased to give. I waited for confirmation of the order--no luck--called Cesare and he said unfortunately neither he nor a member of his staff could take the cc number but if I gave them my phone number then "the office that deals with this" would be in touch. What, deals with taking cc numbers: an office? Anyway, days passed, I kept chasing, no one called, time for placing the order passed. So, if by chance you wish to use Oddbins to deliver a gift forget it. They have good enough wine but ghastly organization. Perhaps the two go together.

Always friendly and helpful service. Usually a number of interesting and hard to find gins, whiskeys and more available for sampling. If you're looking to go off piste from standard big brands and explore craft liquors or some really cracking wines, it's hard to go wrong at this location.

A little bit expensive, but has a broad selection of wines. They do have some quite expensive bottles. They sell spirits as well if you are looking for gin. They also offer tastings of different wines and spirits depending on the day.
