The Yoga Garden

Absolutely wonderful! Excellent yoga teachers and a delightful setting with classes held in a beautiful yurt. Superb treatments, I shall be going back for more!

The Yoga Garden offers so much more than the bendy stuff, it truly is an holistic Yoga experience. A magical yurt, nestled into the beautiful and peaceful West Sussex countryside, it provides a perfect nurturing space to practice all aspects of Yoga. All the instructors that I have experienced there have been wonderful. Each offering something respectively unique, yet all consistent in their approach of being student centred, making everyone in the group feel welcome, fully supported and safe in developing their yoga, whilst being fully cognisant of where each individual is in their own practice. I'd also thoroughly recommend a restorative and healing massage there....bliss! Namaste Yoga Garden.

I booked a 1:1 session with Laila. I've been practising yoga on and off for about two years. I was asked about by skill / experience / health / what I'd like to gain from my session.

I went in with moderate expectations because Lalia said she had only 2 years experience as an instructor.

Laila must have dedicated herself fully these last two years because it was on par with a real YOGI experience.

Absolutely 10/10

I booked a yoga retreat with the yoga garden, paid a deposit and was looking forward to it on 22nd November. When I chased about balance payment, I was told that regrettably due to multiple errors, the venue was double booked so the retreat cancelled. I was offered the following week but due to my work commitments could not attend and therefore had no choice but to accept their offer to refund my deposit. Had this happened I would have been disappointed not to be going. But no, I’m now told I cannot have a refund only a credit note. This is totally unacceptable, unprofessional and I’m guessing against trading standards to whom I shall be reporting this to.
I sincerely hope nobody else experiences this. The yoga garden are on to a nice earner if they charge £300 deposit, cancel, then won’t refund.

26th November update: I'm pleased I have received a refund from Book Yoga Retreats this week. While it has not been within The Yoga Garden's control, they have been supportive throughout, contacted Book Yoga Retreats on my behalf, always answered my emails promptly, professionally and acted to the best of their capacity in what was a situation out of their control. When I next plan a retreat, I will without reservation book The Yoga Garden. Thank you again.
