This was our first time here and went for Father's day. The premises were quiet and staff helpful and friendly. We had the Sunday carvery and very nice it was indeed. Will definitely be back again.

Very friendly and welcoming. The staff are very attentive and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The food is wonderful, really tasty and very competitively priced. Lovely range of wines, beers and spirits. Something for everyone. Well within reach of Corby by car or taxi. Also truly dog friendly. All the staff were very welcoming to our German Shepherd. An all round winner

The pub offers 2 and 3 course lunches for £8 and £10. You get slightly less than on the other menu but it means you have plenty of room for 3 courses! I had whitebait starter followed by wild boar sausage and apple and cinnamon crumble all very good and fantastic value. Pleasant and obliging service from the waiter and waitress and good beer too ( real ales). Everyone in the party enjoyed their meal. We stopped off there while walking the Jurassic way which was particularly scenic and interesting round there - what a lovely day!

We visited the spread eagle since finding out it was dog friendly and we were certainly not disappointed. They where not only very welcoming but the chef made a couple of wild boar sausages for our german shepherd ❤ we both had a lovely 3 course lunch for £9.99 which was a bargain. Good honest pub grub, great beer and a very friendly environment. Have booked in for Sunday lunch 🐷

Called in for an evening meal with my partner, was greeted by a friendly lady behind the bar. We order Brixworth pate and mussels as a starter, then surf and turf and the 8oz rump steak, it was cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend a meal out there. Thank you see you again.

Nice pub. Food was tasty but not hot enough...ruined our trip as the landlord was arrested whilst we were in there. Would go again under different circumstances to get a true reflection on what it's like

Went for Sunday lunch with family. Never been before so did not book, but booking usually necessary. Managed to fit us in without any bother. Food quality good and service exceptional and friendly. Would well recommend.
