Love this pub! Food is excellent and the staff are wonderful! The food is priced for the quality, which is top notch! Definitely recommend! Dogs are welcome and there's room for prams in the soft seating area.

5 star service. Both my colleague and I were served lunchtime service both promptly & politely. The staff were so very friendly/welcoming and the food was exceptional, well prepared/presented and amazing value! Very friendly helpful staff in lovely setting with nice menu and good choices of food and drink. When we visited, possibly due to ordering and supplier issues, a number of main and some dessert choices were not available leaving one member of our party with only one mains choice. However, staff were very apologetic and making an appropriate reparation, I will definitely book again and look forward to a better experience.

After a bracing walk through Epping Forest, we stopped in for lunch and a drink. They are serving a 3 course Christmas menu and we took advantage of this @£31.95. Brilliant service and good, tasty food.
We visit quite regularly and is always good food, service and atmosphere.

The pub is nicely furnished with staff being friendly. It is the nicest pub in Epping.
Fridays..Mixture in ages which is nice, customers take pride in their appearance.
Limited tables, so at weekends get there early. During the week it is quieter, so there is no problem getting a table.
Toilets clean and plentiful for the ladies. Mirrors at the basins, including a long mirror by the door.
Food could be cheaper, but the food is nice, the tables are located away from the pub area discreetly.
There is a car park for customers but it is not that big...but Epping is not that big. Fine for during the week to use, but at the weekend if full, you can park your car outside or there are car parks very close by.
Customers who use the pub's car park must log their car details in the pub.
Drinks a bit more expensive that the two other pubs. Who both have very limited toilets, one pub needs to be gutted out, the other The Black Lion is a lovely pub, built in the 1500's with character. No need to dress up in either pub, but don't leave it last minute to use the toilets. A queue is likely :)

This place is outstanding. By Far the Best Pub food (I don't want to call it that cause its at a different level.) you can get. The Standard of Food by the chef Yasin was to my opinion at Michelin level. He is a very good chef and it tastes and shows in his food. It was outstanding Beautiful food. Also want to mention Richard,who is an Apprentice. Good luck. Your in the right place to start your Journey into the world of fine dining. We dined for 5 days in a Row. We was made to feel very welcome. The owner was the most beautiful Person and her Staff Carly,Nina. And the rest of the Bar staff waitresses were wonderful polite,helpful. Made us feel like family. I loved every day we went. And we have been back since,returning home. And will definitely return as there are so many dishes we have yet to try. Thank you for making our visits special. Fantastic Boxing Day family lunch with 2 mid 90’ year old mums and other family. The food was plentiful and very tasty. We couldn’t fault it and Although very busy the staff where very attentive polite and accommodating. Such good value for money
