Fighting Cocks Inn

I came here today with my partner, her Sister & Brother in law. I had a pint of Batesmans XB which was in perfect condition. We all had a three course Sunday lunch. Every course was just perfect, the roast was beautifully cooked, plenty of fresh veg & a lovely desert. I have been in many 'posh' restaurants & the food here put some of them to shame. The price? £48 for all four meals. Only problem for us is we live 60 miles away otherwise we would be here every Sunday! Well done!

Lovely Sunday lunch in our village pub, great staff, great food, gravy as you would expect. Simon made sure we had the right table for my friend who finds walking difficult. She even got an extra Yorkshire pudding! Value for money over the top!

Passing by with our motorbikes last week and had 3 course Sunday roast dinner with my partner, well I could have liked the plate!! It was that good..
They put a table for us outside when they were r-arranging from the night before.
We booked a table for this Saturday as it is Spanish night, 😀

What a wonderful Mothering Sunday meal. Food and service were first class, best traditional lunch I have had in a very long time. Every mouthful was delicious, the vegetables and meat had clearly been cooked to order, proper gravy and Yorkshire puds.
The food was fresh and cooked to perfection, tasty and plentiful. I am going to make this my go to place in the future.
The staff were very attentive and helpful. The restaurant was full and there was such a happy relaxed atmosphere.
Definitely a place to go to if you enjoy a perfectly cooked delicious meal.

We just had an amazing Sunday Lunch, good size meals, fresh ingredients, very tasty. New Décor very homely feel and friendly helpful staff. Defiantly be going again.

Lovely village pub in the beautiful Corby Glen village (right in the village square).
Good food and nice atmosphere.

Great atmosphere , Iain and Vicky are the perfect hosts. Relaxed , comfortable and friendly pub. Great food - plenty of choice.

Nice pub, pool table and darts room, cosy place with real fire in the bar, also has outdoor seating.
