My second visit here and won't be my last. Had Sunday lunch here and excellent value and everything perfectly cooked and presented. Such nice cauliflower cheese as one of the vegetables. Friendly welcoming service. Enjoyed a Hook Norton pint in suburb quality too so the day was perfect.

Went in on the off chance for a Sunday lunch we were offered a table that would be needed in 45 minutes as it was reserved my wife and I had the best roast ever very friendly staff. Made us feel very welcome. We'll recommend them to anyone. Top quality thanks guys 😊

Nice little pub, with characterful wooden beams that are delightfully at just above forehead height for me. Good selection of beer and a nice cider for those of us who can't drink beer. Pub put on a buffet fro our group which was of a good quality. Staff were friendly and helpful. Toilets clean and pleasant

A Group of 26 Cyclists from Birmingham To Aylesbury stopped here for Lunch yesterday. We had pre ordered lunch with Ellie and she didn’t disappoint. We had home made tomato soup and an array of fresh sandwiches. Ellie even catered for the gluten free and vegetarians in the group. It was all delicious. Thoroughly recommend this place and big thank you to Ellie and all the staff they made us feel very welcome.

Stopped off when travelling as just off the A34. Very friendly welcome and helpful staff. Great choice of food at good prices. Nice garden area and cosy traditional pub inside. Highly recommended. Baby changing and clean toilets. Would have given 5 stars but difficult to park as no car park. Not the fault of the premises I guess, just that life is outgrowing the small village. We will definitely be stopping off here again as often travel past.

If you want top notch food at an affordable price, this is your place. It is not your typical "slapped on a plate" pub grub, but more posh pub food... But none of this small plate nonsense - you get a good helping!!

Food and drink were lovely but the service was very sparse. No repeat" how are your meals" so I didn't get to check where my missing veg was for 45 minutes. By the time we managed to grab someone to ask for desert, the table was covered with empty glasses and menus... so it was a bit silly but tasty and not pricey.
