As a post-grad student I have been attending this place with friends and taking new people here regularly. The staff are all welcoming and will chat to you if your with mates or alone. Drinks prices are reasonable, and its got an overall great atmosphere. If you are looking for a welcoming place for locals or students the Still is perfect

We happened upon this fabulous traditional English pub after spending the day at a graduation ceremony at Lincoln Cathedral. We didn't fancy any of the bars we were passing and then clapped eyes on The Still and went in. Great place! We'd never been there before but it instantly felt cozy, welcoming and familiar, just like a proper pub ❤️ We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and enjoyed banter and laughs with the friendly Landlord, Landlady and a couple of locals. The Landlord kindly came over with shots and toasted my young niece who had graduated that day. It was so thoughtful of him and much appreciated. My niece was chuffed to bits! We highly recommend this pub to anyone visiting Lincoln who wants a taste of how pubs used to be in the good old days, with drinks very reasonably priced too. Perfect!

I was there back in 1989 for a brief stay from the State of Iowa Air National Guard U.S.A. I had a great time there. Great people of Lincolnshire. So sad to hear of Queen Elizabeth II passing. Long live King Charles.

Proper pub,the friendly staff are the reason we drink here when in Lincoln, always make you feel welcome which is very rare in most pubs now unfortunately.

Comfortable, traditional public house. Superb management and first rate staff. Always an absolute pleasure to call in when we are in Lincoln centre. Superb beers and, according to my wife, probably the best cup of tea in Lincolnshire. Will be calling in again this evening for pre-theatre refreshments. Well done everybody.

Traditional chain-brewery pub. Friendly staff, cheap prices for a city centre. Live sports shown and also has a jukebox.

Relatively poor choice of drinks though - Carling/Stella/Fosters/Carlsberg etc - no craft or more premium beers to be seen.

Enjoyed my first draught beer for such a long time last night!
Visited The Still (one of the oldest most traditional pubs in Lincoln's city centre). Fine pint of Pedigree! The staff were as friendly as ever and the beers are kept perfectly so that every glassful leaves you ready for the next!
Strongly recommend you pop in for a refreshment!
Nice photo here with my drinking pal ....and on the left, the friendly landlord who gave away a free cigar!
Looking forward to my next visit!
