I got a table for three on spec without booking. Friendly staff, efficient service and good food. My daughter was impressed with the vegan option, so they cater for the wider audience. My only small moan was the bill, a bit high for pub food, but it won't put me off going back. But, I will book next time.

Really, really, enjoyed Sunday Roast today at the Curzon. I’ve been to other pubs in Woodhouse. They’re all great but this was a nice surprise. It’s one of only a few places you can get, in my words “best of all worlds”(beef, pork and chicken) Attentive service, dogs are allowed etc etc just go if you’re in the area or drive further :)

A really lovely village pub. We like all the pubs in this group but the Curzon is the best! Had an excellent Sunday lunch - Calamari starter was crisp and tasty. Mains were delicious and the vegetable accompaniments were fresh and a great complement. The crumble was perfect too!

I've been to the Curzon Arms a few times now with friends and family and couldn't recommend it enough! The food is absolutely delicious and the quality price is superb. Very generous portions and each one of them full of flavour. The chef also prepared a small portion of vegetables/food without any salt for my little girl, which was very kind. All the staff was very nice and thoughtful, especially Mary, our server, that made sure on several occasions that we were happy with everything. I'll definitely go back again!

We were a party of 4 for lunch including my son and a friend of his, both attending Loughborough University.
We had travelled nearly 200 miles so good food would be fitting for the occasion.
Curzon Arms food was excellent competitively priced and could not be faulted in any way, full marks to chef and the kitchen staff.
One point to be noted
"Table service"
Reaching across the front of diners faces to deliver
and retrieve plates is off putting.

However this in no way detracts from my 5 star rating.
Hope to see you guys again in the new year when we are next up there.

This place is nice and is well known as a good place to eat. The atmosphere is nice - there was a log burner, decor was nice, etc. Good selection of beers and a big cocktail menu for those who aren't driving home! The food was good but not excellent, and the service left something to be desired - apparently they were having delays in the kitchen but it seemed like the waiting staff were keeping away too! Still, I'd go back again to see if the second visit is better than the first.

It’s basically worth dropping everything and visiting the Curzon Arms to order the Sticky Toffee Pudding - it’s seriously delicious!

We ate here Christmas Eve and the staff were busy, but polite, friendly and efficient. The food was served quickly and was great.

Only slight complaint was due to the time of year, the venue was understandably very busy which made the place noisy and it got quite hot / stuffy and uncomfortable - but that’s not really something that can be helped given the circumstances.

We sat in one of the igloo tonight. Meal was presented very nicely and food was very hot. Staff regularly checked that we were happy. Cost very reasonable. Took a little while to pay but that's expected on Friday night. Would definitely come again.
