Nice and cozy pub. Good place to visit with family or Your mates. Regarding the food I would stick to Fish and chips.. we order sea bass with new potatoes but was slightly disappointing. Beers and drinks reasonably priced but food it's bit expensive and You can easily find better and cheaper places to eat in Preston. Parking spaces outside the pub are tight and when U parked then U will have few inches to someone's car door. I wouldn't park anything expensive here haha :)

Visiting from Blackpool for our wedding anniversary. Nicely decorated pub. Friendly and quick service at the bar. Not sure I really wanted a large slice of fresh pineapple with my gammon meal. Usually get a ring. A little different I guess but I couldn’t eat it all. Pint of real ale slightly high price at £3.90 a pint. Nice atmosphere in the pub. Lots of people inside and outside. Clean and tidy. Ordered on line and everything was delivered as ordered within 20 minutes which was good.

Lovely atmosphere in this pub, staff all very friendly. Excellent range of drinks and an extensive menu. I had the mixed grill which was well cooked and a good price. Rob looked after us well all night and we will be returning again soon.

Lovely atmosphere, lovely food and plenty on the plate. The Chicken Wings with Barbecue Sauce were top-notch 😋 Service was fast and served by polite and helpful staff. Job well done ✔️

Booked a table and on arrival we were asked if we’d like to change to a table near the fire which was great as my 88 year old mum was with us. Food and service were great though the adult roast dinners were smaller than we’ve had before

Went in for a lunch not over busy but understand in many places these days short on staff. Ordered meal and waited 45 minutes for it to be served the worst steak pie ever meat very chewy , we then had to ask how long we would have to wait for our sweet which was delicious but took 30 minutes to get it. Overall not the best experience from a place we have known and used for years

Experienced the last 2 games of Euro 2020 at The Black Bull, Garstang Road.
Decent vibes.
Frequented by regulars, probably inhabitants of Fulwood, who know the servers by their first name.
The bar food was not exceptional. Our feast included home fried nachos (very flavourful and fresh, recommended), calamari salt & pepper, onion rings, fish & chips, chicken & pork ribs with Korean styled bbq sauce (which was a little dry), tasty succulent chicken wings in Nashville style hot sauce & Hunters chicken (I agree, BBQ flavour overload on our table)
The sweet potato fries should not be missed whereas the treacle sponge pudding can be skipped.
2 cocktails for £8 is a good deal.
Good spirit & beer selection.
For us, the biggest plus point is the convenience & proximity of the pub to our residence. Ordering and paying on the app makes life easier.
Very prompt service and friendly, polite staff.
Warm ambience. Good indoor & outdoor seating arrangement.
Will we visit The Black Bull pub again?
Yes, of course!
