Nice atmosphere. Food isn't too bad. Had the Wednesday curry special and I'm suitably impressed. I had the lamb curry and my wife had the chicken Tikka. Very good.

The pub looks nice from the outside, but we tried to order food, told a 15 to 20mins for food, so ok we ordered. Over 1 HR last and still no food, we ask how long we it be to be told that they are just putting in the pizza now, all the other food is ready. Waited a few more mins and still no food. We ended up getting a refund. Good if you are only having a drink, but food not good at all. We asked other people about the pub once outside and they said that the food is always very slow.

Extremely poor experience last night at 17.45. Ordered food and waited well over an hour for starters, which were satisfactory. After another 30 mins a young waiter came to say two of the main courses weren’t available! Incredible we had only been waiting nearly 2 hours. Happy to wait at this point as these happen, so different meals were chosen. We then waited another 30 mins or so and still no food.
We spoke to the girl behind the bar who said there was no manager in and she didn’t know who was in charge of the shift.
Unfortunately it was also like a play ground inside the pub with kids running around, jumping onto window sills and throwing balls while the waiters and waitresses were trying to deliver food to other tables!
There were very loud customers shouting and swearing at the bar, one threatening to break someone arm. One lady was vaping at the bar. Still no food so we asked to pay, no offer of reduction in cost of starters for the poor service. The lovely young lady (16yrs old) behind the bar serving drinks was doing her best under the circumstances. Alcohol can be served by a minor if the license holder or bar manager has approved the sale unfortunately this lovely girl was behind the bar alone at times serving.
These is no licensees details outside the bar either.
We were told the owner we’re at there other pub in town The Talbot.
These pub needs some staff that are older and are trained to deal with patrons that are out of order. Vaping is not acceptable at the bar in front of the staff.
Unfortunately we will not be returning in the future although we used to go regularly for family get togethers.

Currently waiting for food for 1 hour and 35 minutes, 2 other tables also waited same amount of time before us. Half the food we wanted was unavailable in the first place, first time back in 4 years, won't be visiting for at least another 4 after this.....
EDIT food finally arrived, 2 undercooked burgers, 2 wrong orders and 1 vile curry, left without eating, the only credit where its due is that we didn't pay for it, do not eat here!

Had a meal for 25 last Sunday and the dinners were fantastic, well priced and the cauliflower cheese was unreal, place is finally being turned around after years of managers/landlords being in and out!

The food was delicious, The staff where very nice and helpful it’s a great place to take your family

Really welcoming staff, great beer and food. Helped me out with some wheelchair accessibility questions and made my whole family feel at home. Thank you.

Had fabulous service and visit. Went with the kids and all food was great and well priced. Would highly recommend the pizzas! Keep it up.
