Visited for the first time yesterday, adequate parking space, lovely outdoor area which is dog friendly. Service was poor and somewhat slow. Visiting for the first time, it's not clear that you need to get a table yourself and go to the reception to place an order. This is the reason for a 4-star otherwise food was great, tasty and comes at an affordable price. I particularly enjoyed the home made Nachos, different from the usual as well as the beef chili and rich peppercorn sauce. Will be visiting again in the future.

Decent chain pub. We popped in while doing the guild Wheel. Decent selection of ale, sensible food selection. Sensible prices. The staff was kind and friendly.
Serves the usual chain pub food and the usual chain pub rates.
Recommended.
If I was being fussy, could do with better bike racks than the mini wheel benders they have. But that's me being fussy.

Lady behind bar very friendly and helpful, offered us a taster of other beers as our first choice wasn't available. Only downer, we fancied a chip butty but had to settle for a rather small portion of chips. Surely they would have bread in the kitchen??

Long wait for food that we were not informed of until after the third person in our party had ordered. Mix up resulting in the wrong food being given to the wrong person. Posh fish finger butty had three small pieces of fish on it and was not worth the money charged for. It. Wouldn't eat there again. The only good thing about the visit was the coffee.

-4° outside but inside a warm friendly atmosphere with traditional log fire. Great choices all taste even Vegetarian and Vegan. Very friendly service in the place, good for family's. Well Enjoyed.
Will be visiting again in the future.
