Clean tidy very friendly staff, a rather fine establishment. Plenty of space to to sit talk. My friend had a beer I'd a coffee both were fine. Not a pub I've been in for 40 years so many changes. Didn't visit the toilets though don't doubt for a second their equally splendid.
Great place right on the end of the bypass. Enjoyed our visit.

Pleasantly surprised. Welcoming atmosphere and food was delicious. The service was excellent, probably the best I've seen in the area, meals came out all together by several servers, meaning we could all tuck in at the same time. The menu has an option for small bites but I would suggest having a go large menu too. I'd happily pay for more, however for what I paid, it was top notch. I'd happily eat here again. Thank you 😀

Friendly and efficient service from the lovely young ladies behind the bar, good selection of cask ales, drinkable wine by the glass, generous and tasty sandwiches at lunchtime, what's not to like?

It was the first time I've been in the woolpack for absolutely years but glad I came. Food is nice nothing fancy. I had breaded calamari, spicy chicken wings and sweet potato fries and will be back for more. Staff are lovely too

Went for breakfast. Atmosphere clean and airy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food tasty and well cooked. Will definately go again.

My first time here, I visited with some work colleagues who've been working from home for a while so it was nice to get together.
There was a little bit of weirdness when we asked if we could move tables to a sunnier area and I should mention that we asked for an outside, but covered table as rain was expected, however when we got there it was nice and sunny so we asked to sit in the sun. There seemed to be some difficulty and if the place was busy I would understand, but the place had only about 3-4 tables being used so there were lots of free tables in sunnier spaces. However after the initial difficulty we were soon seated and given menus and drinks.
The meals were good and the attention from the servers was excellent. I had Hunter's Chicken which was a little messy, but very tasty and overall it was a nice lunch and I will definitely visit again.
