Tinker and Budget

We visited The Tinker a few weeks ago to watch a few locals who had been sponsored for a charity chest wax. We only stayed a couple of hours but had a great time. Friendly landlord and landlady.
All the locals made us feel welcome and the beer went down very nicely. If your passing call in you won’t be disappointed.

Great atmosphere, friendly people and the beer is reasonably priced, what more do you need.

The staff are very helpful..
I wanted to lend a charging cable for my phone, they hadn't one but asked around the various rooms, going above and beyond what you normally get.
Toilets are spotless with a large beer garden to the rear.
My pint of Guinness was perfect.
It was really cold outside when I visited but it was really cozy inside.
Prices are reasonable and compare favourably with any other rural pub.
Sadly, they don't do pies..
A warmed pie, with or without mushy peas would make this a 5 star pub.

What a great, well managed, friendly pub.
We really enjoyed the end of our Saturday evening after being at the civic theatre.
