My 93 year old mum's been in a care home for 18 months. Yesterday i took her in to the nearby Picture House Wetherspoons for the first time. She's in a wheelchair, but that wasn't a problem as the access from the front door was good, and it was easy to move about once inside. We couldn't sit at a table near the main entrance because fumes from the smokers standing just outside were drifting in. We found a nice table inside, by a window. My mum was amazed at the menu and how I could order using the app. The drinks arrived within a couple of minutes, and the meal soon afterwards. Mum had a baked potato and coleslaw. She said it was the best meal she has had, since leaving her own home. The serving staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The inside was well fitted out and clean. My Mum was amused that they referred to us as 'guys'. We shall certainly go again, probably once a week at least. ps. It was nostalgic as i used to go to that cinema as a boy, when it was the 'Kings Cinema '. My Dad took me to see 'Zulu' there - terrifying. The exterior could do with brightening up, especially at the back which looks as if it hasn't had much tlc since I saw Zulu. It gives a poor impression. I'm sure the company could afford to give it a facelift. Best wishes to the staff

It's OK. Probably one of the least liked spoons for us. The tables are never ever clean and staff are friendly with regulars but not so good with people they don't recognise. As with all spoons it's got good prices and good value for money. A plus is that the toilets are not up stairs or miles away. Could be amazing with a bit of effort as the building is beautiful.

Pub fine, bar staff great bit the food is dire, often have little option due to time but the "chef" here seems to have no pride and no standards, some of the stuff sent out is absolutely terrible, not so much the ingredients, more the standard of
the cooking, tonight's meal had cold peas, cold mushrooms, massively overcooked gammon and this for an egg, surely when you can visibly see how bad it is you shouldn't send it, this is a long way from being a one off, they really need a new chef

The best pub in Sutton the staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. The prices are good and a wide range of products. Something for everyone
