Amazing location and delicious food. Love the view and the incredible service. I’m impressed with your persistence in your food quality and customer service. Staff were always on point with a friendly caring approach, great place to spend time in with friends and family. Will definitely be recommending! Thank you! Looking forward to my next visit. ☺️

Unfortunately it's not a place I will be coming back to in a hurry. It was our first visit here and the food was very poor, most dishes were overcooked, dry and ingredients tasted old. One of our starters came with sliced carrots and o my they were wilted and dry, they looked like they had been sliced days before and left on the counter top. The app wasn't working to order food so I went to a bar where there were only two bar staff on and long queues on either side, waited in line for around 15 minutes to order food and drinks.

Floors under the tables were filthy with lots of old bit of food and tables had not been cleaned. I would have normally asked for a different table but it was very busy and a lack of tables so didn't bother.

Waited some time for our starters which is to be excepted on a busy Sunday however the staff came over 3 time to ask if we were finished even though we were still clearly eating. I can only assume this is because our mains were ready to be served? And possibly this is what lead to our food be dry and overcooked?

It the first and hopefully the last time I go out with the family and not one person ate even half of their meal. We could have complained at the time but quite frankly none of us wanted any other or more food from this place and all just wanted to leave.

Lovely location of a pub and if I was to ever to walk the dogs around this area I would happily have a drink in the beer garden but wouldn't return for food again.

We always used to go here when the children were young and we’ve started going again with our grand children and on our own. The setting is beautiful, next to the river Trent. There is an easy (flat) walk along by the river. There are loads of swans, geese and other birds to see whilst there. The Ferry Boat staff are friendly and helpful. All the food we’ve had there has been really good. We would recommend this Inn 👍

Served food in relatively large portion. Quiet nature just outside the restaurant building. Family friendly.

Went here yesterday for breakfast and was pleased to see that the recent changes to decor had made a such a vast imporovemnet to the overall feel of the place. It was clean, warm and the festive feeling had already hit.

The breakfast was brilliant, much better than anticipated for a chain resturant so was pleasantly surprised value for money is great.

One of our servers unsure of her name was friendly and appeared to be genuinely interested in making sure all was ok.

To top it off a nice little soft play for the daughter so overall was a great way to spend the morning.

We will definitely be recomending and look forward to coming back to try the day time menus.

So as a family we often been here as it as a nice walk down by the trent but over the last year we have been constantly let down by the staff when booking a table. yesterday some 24 hours in advance we booked a table for 11 people and as far as we was aware if they take the booking we will get a table But no what actually happens is they ring you up less then 3 hours before you go and say we don't have a table and sorry we can't help with a alternative now considering the food can be hit or miss at best of times this just adds to the negative feelings I have for the place it definitely needs better management and we will not be using the place again until a massive improvement is made Its a real shame
