We went for dinner here on a Saturday evening. The burger was really good, as was the beer. It was our first time here and the pub seemed pretty nice inside and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely return in the future!

We went to try the recently re-opened Elephant’s Head on Saturday. We found a lovely cosy atmosphere and a very warm welcome. I chose the chicken pie which was delicious. I have re-booked for a Sunday lunch with my family. Wishing the new proprietors every success in the future.

I’ve been to many pubs, but this one is one of the best! Super cosy table by the fireplace, the food is amazing, portions are huge, friendly staff. Thank you! Will recommend 🥰

Really nice pub. Wonderful and kind staff. They make you feel at home. Cosy inside, with fireplace, and a lovely beer garden views to the countryside. The food is amazing! I tasted a delicious pie day and scotish eggs! Definetly I will come back! I really recommend you this pub ;)

Went for dinner last week and it was delish. Hearty pub grub done well for a good price. Chicken mushroom and leek pie with mash was super. Friendly staff - will be back! Thank you

Very nice old Sussex pub. Pleasant service but a little disappointed by food. Ham could have been better quality.
