It was truly like a breath of fresh air walking in here after the horrendous experience that we had at the Gatehouse.
The wonderful young lady who served us was most helpful.
This pub is lovely, inviting and very clean, with a great enclosed beer garden to the rear.
The Boltmaker was a good pint albeit lacking a little in head.

Excellent pub. Good music too. Beer very well kept and a particularly fine pint of the Black Stuff

Travelled from East Yorkshire to visit this pub, which was run for 50 years by my great grandfather and great uncle until 1951 (Alfred & Percy Barber). Had a pint of local beer, I would recommend. The regulars were very welcoming and gave a real sense of a community pub. Like they used to be. Thank you to all there for your warm welcome and information, and if you are able to connect me with my family in the future I would love to hear from you.

Classic looking boozer & that's what drew us in. Well decorated inside and with a good sized beer garden. Spotlessly clean. The barman on Sunday the 25th July 2021 was a top friendly kid. If in Kings Lynn again, l'd head straight to this pub

Love this pub full of local character . Small and cosy with a great warming welcome, topped with a glowing real fire. Great real ales well worth a visit.
