Emperors Head Pub

I felt very safe here as all the tables were well spaced and the staff all were masks. The staff were very pleasant and the food very enjoyable. The surrounding are comfortable and there was a lovely log fire which gave a warm atmosphere to the place.

I like this pub - the beers always fresh and the bar staff friendly and smiley. Nice outside seating, especially good for warm summer days.Just in case you're wondering why I don't give 5 stars - it's a good pub not an exceptionally good pub.

A gem among pubs in Stevenage.

Friendly & chill staff, crispy-cold beers & ciders swiftly poured in clean glasses for great prices, a lot of space to sit on (tables on lawn in front of the pub, small terrace, covered terrace, main hall, elevated areas),
large, non-linear, tree-covered parking place,
a fine atmosphere, clean toilets & no tolerance to non-friendly behaviour, all this a little less than a mile from my house...a perfect place for an evening chillout beer.
I'd welcome a larger selection of snacks & food in general, an idea for further improvement.

I came here for a wake, they put on a good spread which keep coming 4 the large amount of guest there. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a lovely place 2 vist 4 whatever ur reason 4 been thee.

Good local place for family get together but selection of beers was very poor and everything was very tatty and needed an urgent refurbishment!

I had to pop in to ask if my elderly mum could use the loo a very friendly lady behind the bar couldn't be more helpful I just wanted to say thank you very much.

Run out of pretty much everything considering they knew they had a function on and did not order in stock even the bottle we were served were smaller bought from off licence next door do about 20 of us left very poor service

Went to this place for a party by 8pm they had run out of beer and other drinks don't sell ale advertised hot drinks don't sell them either
