Martins' Pond

Late booking but accommodated and happy that we got in. The roast was amazing. The veggies cooked perfectly. The red wine (malbec) was a decent bottle for the price and enjoyed by all. Deserts were large and lush. Definitely coming back once I’m over my food coma!

So lovely! The staff is amazing and very thoughtful, the food is delectable, the beer & wine are also very very good. Family friendly, dog friendly and I've become a regular with only 2 days left in town! I dont want to leave! If y'all are hiring, I'm the american that's come in every day the last 10 days!! The landlady is so warm and welcoming as is the staff. I cant wait to come back and I will definitely be back, TODAY,and will be sending all my family and friends who visit to Martin's Pond. Thank you for such a lovely & scenic & delectable spot to spend time! Also, they have the system in place for anyone in need of help from maybe a stranger or bad date which I find to be quite kind and thoughtful. The toilets are pristine. I
have nothing negative to say at all. 💚💚

We had lunch on Sunday 12th June 2022 to celebrate our golden anniversary with 25 family and friends .
It was absolutely fabulous
The food was amazing
It was all hot when it was served and the quality was amazing it was so tasty and delicious .
The staff were amazing and welcomed us all and very very attentive.

I have been going to Martins Pond for the Sunday roast for a few months now and have always enjoyed them but recently they have stepped it up another notch and somehow made them even better! They must have a new chef working his/her magic, I will certainly be recommending their Sunday roast to my friends!

Quiet pub on a village green with friendly staff and a fair choice of food. I was just passing through but would stop again if I should pass that way again.

Adorable local pub, offering a variety of food and drink! Roast dinners are available at the weekend. Dogs are welcome too.

We went on Christmas Eve and had a great time. Lots of regulars and everyone seemed to know each other but still made time to chat to us and involve us. The food was good and service was great.
