The Victoria

This pub sells real ale and has a pool table. I'd say it's one of the lower end pubs in Baldock which could be just what you are looking for.

Great for buying home made cakes, jams and chutneys, crafts, vegetables and plants at the Country Market on a Friday morning but the pub is still undergoing renovations so won't be a good place for a quiet drink for a while yet.

Nice enough pub. I haven't been here for a few years and there has been quite a lot of work done to upgrade. Quality of the drink was good and service was quick enough, although the rapport with the staff was not quite as engaging as it once was. We went mid refurb and ir was already looking better. Looking forward to the completion.

A proper pub! Good choice of beers and friendly staff and clientele.

Can't beet a traditional pub with down to earth peeps and honesty.
