Robin Hood (AND) Little John

First timer this pub and it was great!
The staff behind the bar were fantastic and had good chat that made you feel a part of the crowd immediately. I will also note the raspberry ripple and apple pie ciders were deliciously lethal.

I went for a drink at 7pm most of the tables in the lounge reserved for the quiz. Pub nearly empty!!! Surely first come first severed I can understand if they were booked for meals but not the case. 8.15 and a third of the reserved tables still unoccupied and people having to stand. Nice pub however need to accommodate for other regular customers we left to go elsewhere as not able to get a seat. We were out for the evening with friends not just a pint and a quiz.

Awesome local in Arnold serving great real beers from small local brewery, Lincoln Green, Robin Hood and Little John is a two bar pub ie. bar and lounge very dog friendly but dogs not allowed in the carpeted lounge, however there's a great beer garden for our furry friends to enjoy ( weather permitting).
Footnote -
In 2024 the pub will be celebrating it's 500th anniversary as it's current building structure however the history of The Robin and John go back many years before 1724.

My local, dog friendly, same walking distance for all the family, love a good old pub and chat up with family and friends, great place

Lovely traditional cosy pub, home to Lincoln Green brewery beers, always a port of call when visiting family in Arnold

Landlord is a lovely bloke always have a great conversation and talk about nerdy stuff also the beer is top notch

Always a friendly welcome at this characterful pub where a wide range of excellent, well-kept beers is always waiting!
