Went for a bite to eat and a couple of drinks.

Bar was rather rowdy for a midweek. As we went to find a table to eat away from children, we entered an area where there was a little trouble which resulted in a smashed glass that hit us on the feet!!

We eventually found a quietish space outside, after almost leaving. The food was very reasonably priced and tasted pretty good which made up for the awful antics at the beginning of our experience.

Went with friends for my birthday midweek. Food was really good and reasonably priced, was also able to get Blue Light Card discount. Place is clean and tidy and staff are lovely.

Sunday breakfast hit the spot. Nice and peaceful cosy corner was found. Placed order at the bar with pleasant lady member of staff. Drinks were served quickly, food soon followed. 1 full breakfast, jammy toast + two pots of tea all for circa £12.
What’s not to like? Certainly go again.

What let's the place down was the sticky table, the lock less door in the toilets and the wet all over the toilet floors. Guys, just clean the tables and toilets more than once a day.

A really warm welcome from the staff and they were so helpful throughout our stay. The food was exceptional and we even had pudding. Well done all.

The staff were pretty much ok, food was nothing special.
But the place needs a bit of a clean! Glass light shades very dusty, skirting, edges and ledges all needing a good wipe and polish. The photo I've added was of 3 plants in glass cases on a shelf behind me, it was thick with dust and fluff.

Not a great experience. Most of the beers were sold out, hardly any bar staff to serve you and the bar closed at 10.30 on a Friday night. Won't be going again.
