Old Duke

We came here for our lunch on Saturday. The manager Simon was brilliant, went the extra mile to give fantastic customer service. We will be back very soon! The food was brilliantly priced and tasty too!

Exactly the high standard that Southport needs these days!

Nice place and first time visitor! Easily accessible and plenty of parking. Inside was spacious and airy with lots of seating choices.

We went for the pint and steak offer £10.95 and we were impressed with the portion size and food quality! Very nice experience and we were pleasantly satisfied with the service also! Hope to get back soon again!

Nice, clean play area with plenty of umbrellas for shade. Drinks and food were served quickly using the app. Nice pizza and drinks were served in branded glasses with plenty of ice, etc. Both members of staff I encountered were friendly and helpful and took time to talk to the children in our group.

Ellie (I assume) was looking after us and was so lovely right from when I arrived and she showed us to our booked table, to when she ran out to the car park with my keys, which I had left behind. Excellent, friendly, personal service, and our table waitress was lovely as well. Gareth was our chef and the food was great. The place was spotless, the food was good and came out in appropriate time. We all very much enjoyed our visit, and the staff are a credit to the establishment.

Love coming to the Old Duke, always greeted with a friendly smile, all the staff are just brilliant, really sociable, accommodating and genuinely lovely people, they make me feel so comfortable to come in and even better know my drinks order without even asking ;)
I should know the names of the staff but I have a memory like a sieve but the girls are great and so are Tania, Dave & Si, always going above and beyond with service, providing activities for families and ensuring the staff are happy!

My steak was cooked exactly as I asked for. My meal was piping hot, & the best chips I've had any where. The service was brill, asked us what drinks we were having, & recommended certain brands. Also made sure we was happy with all our meals, & regularly asked if we needed more drinks etc. What more can you ask for.

I took my son here for his birthday lunch to try the burgers. We were not disappointed at all. They are so tasty and great value for money. The pizzas are really good too. Definitely a great place for families.

Five of us had a meal here, we all enjoyed our meals, staff were friendly and helpful. There were some nice sounding non alcoholic drinks on the menu but were not in stock (possibly due to strikes and delivery issues?)

Would certainly recommend and plan to go again ourselves
