The Windmill

A quite nice pub. Clean tables and toilets and with OK lights. Not the garish hospital lights some pubs have. We came in on a thursday night. There were just two other patrons there. The bartender greeted and served us but was in the end more interested in YouTube videos than working. We may have chosen the wrong night but the experience left much to be desired. Would recommend if you just want a beer.

Lovely pub that we just happened by whilst waiting for the train. Friendly owner, fantastic beer garden and very reasonably priced.

Friendly bar staff, excellent pint of Guinness, and a warm fire to dry off after a wet day.

Very welcoming and hospitable pub! Feels very homely and I will come back again. Outside is the most beautiful wisteria vine in bloom that you can sit under. Thank you for a nice evening :)

In a word, wow. In a noise 'eeeeek'. The Windmill picked me up off my haunches and took me to a place that I never believed could exist. The beers were crisp, the bartender was joyous and very informative about attractions and eateries in the local area, and the garden was space and full of characters.

Nice local pub. They have Guinness on tap which is a plus.
