Really good traditional pub, well worth a visit. The accommodation rooms are quite basic but functional. The bar is fairly well stocked (particularly if you like cask ales) and the staff are very helpful. Music is background, or was on our visit anyway, and there are no machines or other 'entertainments' didn't even see a dartboard. Fairly food led and dogs and walkers are welcome. Talking of the food, all home cooked and although the menu is not extensive, caters for most. Particularly veggies and vegans are offered a decent range of choice whereas those of us who are carnivorous have a more restrictive choice, I believe this is more to do with the cost of living 'crisis' and trying to keep things affordable rather than an actual bias. I believe they have a quiz night on Tuesday but can't be 100% sure as we weren't there on the Tuesday (check before arrival if that's your thing).

Great little place, we were on a long walk when we spotted it in the map and made a beeline. Only stopped for an orange juice and lemonade and sat outside but looked OK inside. Menu looked good although again we didn't try anything.

Had a burger for £8 tasty but very small, added chips for £2 again very small portion. For £10 the meal was not value for money. It is a pity the food wasn't upto the standard of the service and feel of the pub because they where very good.

Love this pub, great staff, very friendly and welcoming. Wonderful chef, and food is very reasonably priced.
They host events with live music, and the selection of real ales and ciders is extensive. Very happy to recommend our favourite local

We all enjoyed our meals, the Titanic Burger was very good. All the real ales we tried were in good condition. Looking forward to returning.

Great, well priced mid week menu. The inn is situated in an enviable position in the village and can be used as the final destination of a walk around the village or the beautiful surrounding countryside. Parking is limited so be prepared to walk.

Visited for a quick pint. Love this village and pub but I hadn't been for a few years. Two surly barmaids on duty. Not particularly busy. Waited 5 mins to be acknowledged. An absolute minimum of pleasantries (non at all to be honest) once served no apologies for the wait. Average pint and overall a fairly disappointing visit.
