Just a quick stop for a well needed pint. Nearly at the end of a 3 day hike of the sandstone trail. Very nice an welcoming staff. Nice interior of the building. Lovely beer.

This is a lovely pub with friendly staff and great atmosphere. The food was nice and portion sizes were generous. We've tried a few pubs in Whitchurch and this is the best so far. Thank you 😊

I often meet my friend here for a catch up, a nice half way point. The food and atmosphere is always lovely, menu changes with the seasons and just a lovely selection.
The staff are helpful and friendly and leave us to it when we are gossiping the evening away! And it’s always an added bonus when their beautiful dogs come and say hi

Excellent pub/restaurant and our local, superb selection of real ales, menu regularly changed, staff provide prompt efficient service. Food allergies well catered for. Plenty of parking and very convenient for the nearby Llangollen Canal. Highly recommended. Closed Mondays, Sunday food lunchtimes only.
