Lovely place with great staff! We had the Sunday roast which was fantastic , there was loads of beef and it came with extra dishes of veg... we certainly didn't leave hungry!! Highly recommended !
There's a large car park and kids play area if you have young kids.

Visited this pub over August bank holiday. Nice place, fantastic food, reasonably priced and great portion size. I opted for the 20oz steak. Steak was cooked to perfection. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone on our table was impressed with there food. Also all the food I saw on other tables look great too. Big recommendation from me.

The only criticism I have was that the chips had salt on them from the kitchen, including the KIDS food. This needs to be changed, especially for the kids food. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Booked ahead for family of 5. Arriving early for 12 noon. Had to wait awhile for food to arrive but food was tasty. Beef Sunday lunch for me. Food was not very hot unfortunately but enjoyable nether the less. Staff were attentive and friendly. Overall good . Pub was clean and bright. We will visit again.

Had a really superb meal here last night with another family, all of us commented on how good the food was. The portion sizes and ingredients used were super and really good value. Would definitely recommend. Service was also very good, the waitress and gent behind the bar were spot on.

Fantastic , spur of the moment visit. They were fully booked but still took the time to see if they could fit us in (thank you chef). Great atmosphere, great location FANTASTIC FOOD. Best steak and ale pie I've had in a long time. Full of large chunks of quality beef, great gravy (plus extra on the side). I asked for the large pie, should of asked for the medium, it was huge (see photo). Staff lovely, great value for money...thanks all

Popped in here last week while visiting a local friend. We both had the sharer nachos each and it was lovely.... superb nachos with guacamole and sour cream toppings with plenty of cheese. Friendly staff and a nice place overall. Well worth a visit.

It was very pleasant to have stop-by lunch - Nice outside seating, delicious food, very polite and attentive waiter and free parking space. The fish and chip was surprisingly delicious, that the batter was thin and crispy with crunchy chips and mushy peas. The chicken sandwiches was amazing too. The blueberry tart with custard was very special and tasty.
