Just been to visit the Arms since it’s refurbishment. It has had a major overhaul and is looking stunning inside. They have kept the charm of the old pub, but it feels might lighter and clean and open.
Food was great and they had great beers on. The garden is looking amazing and some great features. A play area for kids and a lovely area with deck chairs to enjoy the view, and even an outdoor bar. We will definitely be back.

Visiting for the first time. Had a warm welcome. We sat in the New dining room. The service was great, I wanted to change mash for chips, no problem. I chose Chicken & Leek pie with vegetables, delicious, pie stuffed with chicken. Mother in Law chose fish and chips, small portion, she thoroughly enjoyed it Would highly recommend and will visit again.

Pie of the day was minted lamb 🥧 (veggie pie was available too) and was DELICIOUS! We booked a table for lunch as were visiting a nearby national trust place.

The staff were excellent, able to answer all our questions and even came over with a few biscuits for the dog.

We'll definitely be coming back. Just sad we didn't have room for dessert as the choices were good!

Very nice lunch. Having some work done today so busy in the remaining area. Staff were very polite. Food was good. My only criticism is that the menu offers nothing simple for lunch. You couldn't stop here on a dog walk and grab a baguette. or ploughman's. It's all fancy and pricey. The addition of a few simple or sandwich selection would be really good for short lunch visits.
Well done on creating a lovely place!

Had a very tasty evening meal and then Stayed overnight in our campervan (free to stay in the car park if eating in the pub).
Pub had a great atmosphere, busy and was very welcoming. The dog was made to feel welcome as well. Will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend.

Absolutely top-notch renovation of an old English pub. Ignore any of the old reviews before October 22. The pub has been completely redone by the new management - serves great food and beer.
Friendly staff and loads of space inside and out. This is now our new regular! The mushroom toasts and chicken & leek pie are the best in Hampshire! Genuinely great pub - at last!

Wonderful country pub serving generous tasty upmarket dishes. Great selection of real ales and IPAs. Excellent service made us comfortable and we were given a choice of tables. By the time we left they were all taken so book early to avoid disappointment. Thoughly enjoyed the scotch egg and short rib of beef.
