White Horse

Pub , has 3 areas, the pub building itself which is large and open and clean.Outside has a sufficient car park, with several tables on hard surface with staff allocated to attend to these tables, at the rear of the car park is a large grassed area fenced with tables and a small children's area,again this has staff to take orders and deliver to the table.
1st time here as thus is a dog friendly pub had a 2 course meal , only took photo of main course Sunday roast beef dinner.

They are closing for a week to have some work done.
Well worth a visit,especially now we have the freedom to go out and about again.

Another lovely lunch at the White Horse (followed by a delicious mini dessert + coffee - pictured) - this is one of my favourite local pubs for dining, especially when the weather is good and we can sit outside. Great menu with plenty of choice, I had the chicken and pepper nourishing bowl which was really tasty. Plenty of outdoor seating, they welcome dogs and the staff were extremely attentive, as always. Highly recommend!

Really nice country pub. The ambiance is really classy and provides a warm, comfortable and welcoming feeling. The staff is really friendly and the food is delicious! Offers both indoor and outdoor seating. It has a really nice outdoor party area as well. Ample parking available. Fair selection for vegetarian and vegan food!

We visited for lunchtime today and were so impressed with the pub as a whole. Very accommodating and understanding of the needs of a 3 yo on his first holiday, offering alternative seating space that was less overwhelming and giving him a little area to play if needed. With our baby being dairy intolerant, they went above and beyond providing a delicious meal for me that wasn’t missing any components and is the best allergen service I have had anywhere to date since having to cut dairy and soya from my diet. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful, all the meals were great and the outdoor areas were beautifully kept. Highly recommend this place for families and anyone looking for a good meal.

We feel so lucky to have the White Horse as our local. We have been twice this last week. Both times and infact every time we visit we have had a superb meal with the best service. A warm welcome in a lovely country pub awaits and we guarantee that you will not be disappointed!

Just fantastic, cannot praise the team here enough! Had two Christmas lunches, one group of 10 and one of 20 and everyone was just thrilled with the food and service. Thank you Laura and Carl to you and your team. Top notch chef, every course was outstanding!

Booked here for a Christmas meal with some colleagues after being highly recommended. We had a fantastic evening! The food was delicious and well portioned, the staff were wonderful and the pub itself is gorgeous. I will definitely be returning to try some non-Christmas fare :)
