We hired the back room for my father's 70th, it was perfect for our needs the main bar is beautifully decorated and clean. Dan and his team are extremely helpful, friendly and professional. They went above and beyond to make our evening a special one, always there to help and even put themselves out to make sure it went off without a hitch.
From the patrons in the bar to all the staff, you are made to feel welcome and comfortable.
With darts, pool tables, live sports and the added bonus of Havant and waterlooville fc playing next door this is a must visit..
Disabled and family friendly, we didn't get to sample the in house food (as we had our own for party) but it smelt lovely.
Overall experience was brilliant and we will use this place for any family functions in the future.
From booking with Elly (sorry if name wrong) to having the party and being looked after by Dan and team it was an enjoyable experience and genuinely felt comfortable and stress free.. thankyou so much

Lovely pub and clean toilets. The facilities have recently been refurbished. The function room is cheap and a fantastic place to book for a party of 80 or less with its own bar and outside area. The staff go above and beyond to help make your function go as smooth as possible. 100% booking here again.

Had my Wife's wake here and was very impressed with all the facilities and the buffet.

Had my 30th Birthday Party in the function room here and would highly recommend unlike a few pubs in the area this function room is fully secluded from the main pub, you have your own bar and staff which is perfect and just what you want when you are hiring for a private event. Ellie and her team where amazing from the moment I enquired. Very quick with responses to emails, texts and calls. No question was too much hassle for them. On the day the team were amazing especially Gary. He helped to carry things that were needed from the car to set up the function room, moved tables for us and even found screwdrivers to build my easel for my welcome sign. The bar staff were really friendly and again nothing was too much trouble for them on the night. The buffet was also prepared and made by the pub and everyone said how good the food was. I couldn't fault them or thank them enough for everything they did.

Great pub, with a great atmosphere. Friendly staff, loads of screens to watch the football on. Loved the fact that the whole team from HWFC mix with the fans after game

We had our work Christmas party there. They have a function room at the back which you can hire out. Staff were friendly. Good place for a drink before a game of football

Not been here before went for a birthday party. So used room at back of pub. Seemed nice enough.
