Lovely little pub! The staff are all really friendly and love a chat with the locals. Good sized beer garden with plenty of seating. I haven’t tried the food but it looks really good. Weds and Saturday they let you bring in pizza from the van parked in the carpark so can’t complain with that.

Came here for lunch was very nice, I had the scampi it was lovely, my bus uncle had the pie it was really big and tasty he really enjoyed it. Its a really nice pub with friendly staff, it's dog friendly too which is always good. The prices are adequate for the food, would definitely come here again.

Always love visiting the coal exchange. From the US and come to this area to visit family annually and this is our favorite pub. Always welcoming and feels like home and food and service is top notch. The ale pie is unbelievable!

When you have been let down by another Emsworth Pub, head to what you know. A colleague had booked a table for a bunch of us for our yearly reunion, only to be told on arrival that the kitchen was out of action. 20 years ago the Coal Exchange was my go to pub. This time also it didn't dissapoint. There was a table available, they were patient, our team never turned up on time, and the menu had a good selection of pub food for omnivores and veggies. Staff are great, Coal fire warm and on returning home, I find out it is also now my sons go to pub. He also has good taste.

Friendly local pub. Warm open fire. Good choice of beers on tap. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a proper local pub, wonderful atmosphere.

Traditional pub with open fires and good food. Increasingly, a wider range of ales for a Fuller's pub😃

If I could put zero star I would. Absolutely rude staff/landlady who apparently doesn’t like to communicate respectfully. Happy won’t be returning. Also smells like a pig farm inside - can’t imagine that’s nice to eat in.
