The miners arms is a proper village pub, food is good and the beer cellar is sound. One of the few pubs still doing HSB and it is great. Long live HSB!! Friendly staff and comfortable lounge. I love this pub. Good times!

A village pub with a long history. Mostly adorned by locals, sits on a busy road. Fairly tight car park, and limited on-road parking. Saloon and lounge bars, but neither are large. ‘Cosy’ best describes. Food is reasonable, has an extended beer garden under a marquee since the late spring. I visit fairly regularly but largely because of good friends who live locally.
