Great pub. We stayed in our camper in the field at the rear, £5 per night or free if you eat in the pub.
I would highly recommend going and having a meal it was fantastic. The staff are so friendly and welcoming.
We'll definitely go again if we're ever in the area.

We had 3 good experiences here but I took some friends for a meal a couple of weeks ago and I decided to have fish and chips. When the meal came, my friends had a decent portion of pie if the day, but mine was like a child's portion. I queried it but didn't want to make a fuss in front of friends. I was told that fish is very hard to get and very expensive. My battered fish was about 7.5 CMS X 5 CMS. There were 9 chips and a few peas. I hadn't had breakfast and was starving when I had finished.
They should have said when I ordered. No apology. I won't be going back. And by the way, there is plenty of fish in the shops.

Not bad for a light lunch mid week. Nice welcome, the pub is well kept with different indoor rooms plus a garden room and beer garden. Sandwich and a cheese ploughman's with some sides and whitebait. Quite pricey when I think about it, though that is just a sign of the times. Overall very satisfied.

A mid week 2 nights stay it was very satisfactory. Spotless room, nice breakfast, evening very good and the staff were all very friendly. We were walking the Serpentine Way and the Flying Bull Inn was just the spot to rest up in the evening with local beers on tap, the Love Shack was cracking.

My mother and I had a lovely lunch. The Salmon en croute was delicious and the puddings were great. Plenty of fruit in the crumble and the Bailey's Brulee was amazing. Friendly welcome and helpful staff. Wasn't a cheap lunch but in their defence I think it is a sign of the times if you are going to eat out.
We will be back. Thank you.

Not sure if all foods are homemade. Food was acceptable and fairly well presented. Staff friendly and very helpful. Easy parking and accessible for disabled people.

Very impressed! The room was lovely, clean and spacious. The pub is cute, comfy and cosy with great food and friendly staff (plus dog friendly!). The breakfast was excellent. Overall a very pleasant place to stay.
