The staff here are just so lovely and friendly the food is an added bonus.

Last time we came here, we tried the tapas menu and it did not disappoint! The dishes were huge. There is seating everywhere, outside, outside under shade, inside the bar area or the restaurant.

It's a really cozy local pub, and iv heard their roast dinners are lovely so I shall be back trying one of those very soon.

We only had a couple of pints, but a very good selection was available, both ales and lagers. We have eaten before and I've gotta say fantastic value for money. So to recap, good beer, good food, and great service. It's a solid 9.5/10 from me

Gorgeous meals all six, great beer and service all absolutely faultless with a particularly jovial atmosphere! Definitely a revisit planned!
Curry, ham egg etc, bolognese, steak and kidney pie etc etc followed by desserts!!! 10/10

Second time eating here after friends bought us here a couple of weeks ago .
We live local so decided we wanted to bring some friends here to , even though they live in Waterlooville and don't drive we did a round trip to bring them .
I've had the liver both times and it was delicious.....
Would definitely recommend.....

Had dinner at home, popped in here for a drink, also fancied a pudding. We had the toffee / sponge pudding with custard. It was delicious, we've been a few times now 🙂🙂.

Last minute change of venue to dine and WOW. The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive but not in your face. There is an amazing set menu with lots of dishes that have been tried and tested plus a specials board. We both had the beef bourguignon from the specials board which was amazing and they even catered for our individual vegetable choices. Definitely a go to pub which has a lovely friendly locals vibe to it.

Nice atmosphere, great service, awesome beer selection! Didn't try the food, but they looked to have a mouthwatering menu. Worth a visit!

Lively experience on a Saturday evening. Excellent friendly service, menu rather basic but reasonably priced.
