The pub it self is clean and tidy and the Garden area is really beautiful and a lovely place to enjoy a warm sunny afternoon. Good choice of drinks available at reasonable prices

HOWEVER…The service is somewhat questionable, one of the bar maids was very welcoming and seemed friendly but on more than one occasion I was shocked by the attitude and the abrupt manner of some of the bar staff, so much so that we chose leave after just a couple of hours and we had planned to spend the evening enjoying the lovely weather in a local beer garden.

Nice local pub! Good ales, welcoming atmosphere, and great prices. We're in town for a week and will be paying this lovely bar several more visits, I'm sure.

A clean and tidy local pub one or two antiquated rules for a modern pub but they probably add to the charm of the pub. Staff friendly and helpful. A nice little pub.

A lovely little pub with friendly staff and customers, with a decent drinks selection and at reasonable prices. A shame they don't accept card payments, but that may be down to the charges.

Great atmosphere and is more of post 30 year old pub .Great Summer Garden.
Impressive lunchtime food but best to check ahead if offering weekday evening food.
