Food was nice, service a tad slow but I understand as it was kinda full. Vegan burger and chicken burgers were very nice.

Popped in for a swift pint and was pleasantly surprised. The pub seemed to be doing a great trade with a good mix of customers. The bar was clean and tidy and it appeared to be well run. I'm not the biggest fan of Wetherspoon pubs, but this is one of the better ones!

Ordered food via the app. Food brought to table but no sign of drinks. Went to find out where they are and was told they're on the bar waiting to be taken out. Unsure why the 2 waitresses milling about couldn't bring them out so I took them myself. There were 3 other trays of drinks waiting. Not good enough.

Went here saturday afternoon for lunch and a drink with my mum, very busy but found a space upstairs, ordered with the app, the staff were rushed off their feet but very helpful and cheerful and drinks and meals arrived quickly, great wethers pub! , ive never had a bad meal here and it was a pleasant visit, as usual! Thanks!

Always a good experience here. App orders and bar orders are delivered in a timely manner, prices are competitive and the food is good portions. Mainly go here for work outings, and we'll definitely have The Red Lion as a go-to place.

Good food, free refills on coffee and tea, not a long wait time for food and there is decent seating. Can get busy so may be hard to find a seat; if going on a typically busy day - come a little earlier to try to secure a table.

I ordered the steak and it was absolutely lovely... Right down to the salad it was beautiful.
Before I sat down a lady rushed over and cleaned the table for us.
Couldn't ask for more really.

Our 1st visit, food & drink ordered on app & both arrived promptly, Staff friendly & cheerful and felt like a real traditional pub, we visit lots of Weather spoons and were impressed with toilets , much improved on other venues, we will definitely go back
