I've visited a few Wetherspoon pubs over the years, some better than others. The Corn exchange was just that, built in 1862 on the site of an old market and lavishly converted by Wetherspoon about 10 years ago. Beer and food are to the usual Wetherspoon standard but the building....WOW. Huge and Unbelievably ornately. It's worth a visit just to look around.

We hadn't been before and we're pleasantly surprised. It's very large, the food was nice and it's a very reasonably priced meal. The service was very good, despite many diners, but we'll spaced out and comfortable

Nice place for lunch or dinner. Reasonable prices. Lot of options to eat. Sitting area is very nice. This is an old building but well maintained.

Truly is one of the most beautiful locations for a whetherspoons. Very impressive building both inside and out, but then a classic spoons service. Great.

Typical Witherspoons though the lovely building and the glass ceiling deserve 5 stars. The rest merits 1. Sticky menus, unclean tables, poor service etc. Good value though.

Stopped for breakfast and glad we did. Large choice of breakfast options with the ability to add loads of extras. Drinks were provided from self service machines. Food was served quickly and staff were polite and friendly. The main seating area is very large with plenty of tables and comfortable chairs. Would highly recommend if visiting Bury St Edmunds.

What a lovely wetherspoons this is. From the moment you enter you'd think you'd walked into a posh hotel.
I was in this restaurant as I'd a car to take for a service and I must say it's one the nicest I've been in. A lovely big roaring 🔥 fire and plenty of seating. The setting is brilliant and I take the pleasure of looking atvthe structure of the place and it's damn well impressive. Food and Drinks served with a smile as always in wetherspoons. I'll definitely be visiting this place again...🥰🍽🍺❤👍

The ambiance here was lovely. There was the usual range of drinks available, with lots of great prices. We decided to have a meal as it seemed so nice here. Sadly, this is where we had a bit of a problem. We chose a mixed grill and a spicy chicken. On going to order we found out that neither were available. A little disappointing as it was lunchtime (about 2pm) on a Wednesday. We ended up choosing burgers (they were heavily advertised around the room). They arrived quickly, my husband's was perfect, unfortunately my food was quite cold. I called a member of staff over and explained and she very courteously took the plate away. She came back and told me that my meal would be redone from scratch which would mean a delay. We didn't get to eat together because of this, which was a shame, however, my new meal was piping hot and delicious. Hence a bit of a mixed review for this place
