Food was delicious! Service was fast. 2 for 1 deals which wasn't bad. Good sized portions. Over all, happy with the establishment.

BUT, the hassle to pay for parking over the phone was enough to make me drive away and I nearly did. Went to find a payment meter and it had an "out of order" sign on. I nearly cried. Apart from that, I would recommend it here!

had a lovely lunch here. Unfortunately, my aunt left here phone behind and the staff were wonderful by taking our details and when they found it, called us so we could collect it. This is excellent service which goes above and beyond simply serving food and drink. My thanks to everyone there especially Marja our waitress.

My friends and I ate here last night for a 6pm booking. The prawn cocktail starters were just right to whet our appetites. Very tasty. My main of fish and chips had the best chips I've had in a long time. Lovely. Good service. Good food. I'll go back there soon.

The bar staff were smart, very friendly and acknowledged you straight away even when they were busy. The food was cooked perfectly, portion was just right. Lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and would eat here again.

Definitely a restaurant we would go back to again as a family. There is a small area for the kids to keep them entertained which was great. Table service to take your order and pay at the table which is really nice change. Carvery you still help yourself to the vegetables and served the meats by the chef. No boiled potatoes and varieties of vegetables was lacking, and the amount if meat given is minimal compared to other Carveries about but it was still delicious. Chic served us, she was polite and friendly and engaging with us, especially with the kids. She made sure everything was OK for us the whole time we were there. Excellent customer service. The only issue is parking, don't get caught out. You MUST pay for your parking before you go into the pub. Present your parking ticket to the pub and you will get this deducted from your bill at the end. You can pay cash or card at the pay machines. We went on a busy Sunday lunchtime but it was ok. Would recommend booking a table in advance to make sure you get a table as it was busier when we left. Would go back again.

The pub itself is clean, warm and welcoming. It is well situated. We were greeted by cheerful, helpful staff who were attentive at all times, not just to us but to all their customers. We ordered some food which was all freshly cooked, piping hot and well presented… it also tasted delicious. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily return.

Went here for a Christmas meal on 11/12
The service we received from all staff was excellent. They couldn't do enough for us and made sure we were happy with everything.
The food was very good for the price. Everyone had a great time and we will definitely be back.
Massive thank you to you Shaun and your team 😁
