Robin Hood of St Albans

Traditional pub, close to St Albans City Station and not too far out of the City centre. But far enough to be a little quieter on busier nights and to get a seat!

Staff are friendly and welcoming, plus the ales are well kept. Seems to get a good mix of locals plus passing trade.

Haven’t tried the Pickled Egg Challenge yet!

Great cracking little beer festival a few weeks ago. A much better atmosphere than a few months ago now one of the rude unwelcoming bar staff has gone.

Cute little place on our way to the Thameslink. Great Gin selection.

23/11/2019: photo upload from a trip to Hemel Hempstead to visit friends. Annually we do an Ale Trail and 2019 was a St. Albans Ale Trail. The Robin Hood was along the way.

Excellent beer dog friendly real old fadhioned pub.

Lovely pub and nice staff. £5.20 for a pint of Kronenbourg.

Good range of ales very warm and welcoming little pub. Reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

A city locals pub near the Thameslink station offering 3 well kept cask ales also up to 6 good real ciders.
